1. Arrange A Site Visit
Call us to arrange a site visit, Our project manager will go through the details, and answer all your questions. He can assist in choosing the best design and layout for your bathroom maximising space.
2. Detailed Quotation
After the site visit, we will supply a detailed quotation based on the discussions during the site meeting. If you are happy with our quotation and wish to proceed the next stage is to set preferred commencement and completion dates of your project.
3. Schedules And Contracts
We are committed to delivering a finished bathroom in around 10 business days. We provide an easy-to-understand Residential contract. All our documents can be viewed and signed electronically using your smartphone or device.

Only someone with a Builders and Site Supervisors License can renovate a bathroom. Plumbers and tilers are not licensed to complete a bathroom renovation.
There are multiple trades required to complete a bathroom renovation including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering, waterproofing, demolition, tiling. Check your contractor’s license details on QBCCC’s website https://www.qbcc.qld.gov.au/licensee-search
Ask if they will supply certification for plumbing and waterproofing. Ask about Home Warranty Insurance which is compulsory.
Generally, you do not need council approval for a bathroom renovation unless it is part of a new extension.
We allow 10 working days for a bathroom renovation from strip out to completion.
There are drying times for waterproofing screed and paint tiles and grout, so you need to compare apples for apples when choosing a contractor.
First question should be do you have the correct license. Plumbers and tilers are not qualified to complete a full bathroom renovation. You need site supervisor and building license to coordinate the trades required for a bathroom renovation. Ask to see examples of previous works and referrals from clients.
Make sure the quotes are supplying the same things, compare apples for apples when choosing a contractor.
If you do not have a contract with a scope of works and specifications what starts as a cheaper quote may become more expensive as the project progresses. Make sure all trades are licensed and qualified to do the work. Ask if certification will be provided on completion of works. Check and make sure what is included and what is excluded from any quotation.
Under the QBCC Act, most residential construction in Queensland valued over $3300 (including labour and materials) must have QBCC Home Warranty Insurance. As part of the building process, the contractor pays a premium (on behalf of the consumer) to QBCC to insure the construction. The amount is included as part of your contract, and is paid before work begins. The purpose of the statutory insurance scheme is to provide assistance to consumers of residential construction work for loss associated with work that is defective or incomplete. Waterproofing must be installed by a licensed contractor. If your waterproofing fails, this can cause serious damage to your property and is very difficult to repair once the bathroom tiling is complete. It is very important to get certification from the waterproofing contractor or from your builder on completion of works. Ask your contractor if they will supply certification on completion?
We do not do partial repairs to bathrooms as to supply warranty and form 16 for the waterproofing it needs to be a continuous membrane. Removing single or multiple tiles in a wet area can compromise the integrity of any existing waterproof membrane.
This is not advisable unless you have experience in the Building Industry. Some things to consider are:
The cement screed supply’s the drainage to all floor wastes with the highest point in the bathroom being the entrance. Most bathroom renovations do away with the old shower hob. The hob would restrict the water to the shower area and once this is removed adequate fall must be achieved to ensure all water reaches the floor wastes.
Strip drains are most suited to large or open shower areas allowing the tiler to ramp the tiles in the shower to the drain without the need for multiple cuts to the tile. Strip drains are more expensive and can require concrete cutting to relocate the drainage point, usually to the back of the shower.
